Trickle Charging -- A method of recharging in which a secondary cell is either continuously or intermittently connected to a constant-current supply that maintains the cell in fully charged condition. Usually pulse charge can do this. According the previous test experience, battery will loss 5% of its rated capacity because of self-discharge after full charge (in a circumstance of 40℃). Theoretically charge the battery at a current of C/500 can remedy this loss for C*5/100*24h*C/500, but in factor, the charge efficiency is very low, basically can not work because of the too small charge current.. then we can use Pulse charge to solve this problem. That is charge at C/10 for 1.2 seconds, and lay aside for 58.8 seconds. By this charge way, the battery can be charged for 5% of its capacity one day. Usually, pulse charge is suitable to be adapt under the below situation: charge current: C/20, and charge time:0.1 seconds to 60 seconds.
